You see, victimization is a terrible thing, huck, and people don't take kindly to it. When they are persistently libeled, as I am, by being smeared as an 'anti-semite' (sic) or a 'jew hater', to quote yourself, they look to self-protection. That means 'the law'.

Now, whether you are aware of it or not, membership of this forum demands that you waive any liability charges , as in libel for example, should you become libeled as a result of membership here. I am most certainly libeled by being called 'anti-semite'(sic) and jew -hater, but my only recourse, short of challenging the waiver, is to complain to the staff, such as you, huck, and leave it to their discretion as to what action they will take.

I'm no 'anti-semite' nor 'jew-hater' and it's an insult to be called such. That's where my complaint comes in, not the vagaries of the 'report post' button, which members are encouraged to use in 'the rules' thread, but right here in this public forum which exists for the purposes of improving the site. It's an insult, you see, being libeled, and insults are against the forum rules.

Now, if I were an 'anti-semite' (sic) then I'd have no just cause for complaint. But I'm not. Not even a 'jew-hater', huck. Neither you nor anybody else will be able to find any evidence at all to back up those libels. It doesn't exist. Being appalled by the brutality of nationalist Zionism does not make me hate Judaism nor jews and I am not responsible for your inability to discern between terms, particularly when several members, including me, have several times taken the trouble to point out the differences.

So then, the purpose of this thread, if it isn't clear already, is to request a clarification of site policy. Is the site going to allow libel and insult, when a member complains about it, or is it not ? It's a question that shouldn't have to be asked but the 'report post' option has failed me. The P.M option has failed me- I'm still being libeled. Currently, as anyone can see by checking links or post reports, some libel has been removed, for which I am indeed thankful, and other libels remain. I am only asking for consistency.

I'd be pleased to deal with it myself in open forum but, to my cost, I've discovered that retaliation brings reprimands and bans. Not a very healthy course of action under the current uncertainties. If the staff will be required to remove libel when requested then I'd be grateful if that decision worked in retrospect and the existing insults were deleted. If the insults are to be left undeleted, against the stated policy of the site, then I'll just take my chances .
It would be more fitting if the loaded dice were discarded though.

Moon, who I have not yet engaged in any back-and-forth with, seems to be correct in his assertions.

As a disinterested viewer, I see many rules violations that go unaddressed.
And unfortunately, most of these pissing contests are begun by rightward-leaning guests of this site.
And , like in football, the retaliatory strike is what is flagged.

Moon has taken a lot of shit for his views. But he is not alone. The left as a whole has been called just about every name in the book.

Taking a cursory view at War and Peace posts, I found these-
