Regardless of whether Moons posts demonstrate bias or not, they show an alternative viewpoint.*Trying to shout down the view of the other is essentially bullying, and has no place in civilized discussion–even when you don’t agree with their perspective.

I am well aware that I have my faults, that I may appear biased on issues re the Middle East, and that my primarily positive experience of Arab people means my perception is quite different from that of some people here, however I don’t believe that any reasonably intelligent human being would equate believing that Palestinian people should have the same rights as other human beings with anti Semitism.

It would be a sad world if people genuinely believe that to be the case, and for that reason I consider the constant slurs against Moon to be totally inappropriate.

I read your posts clearly and respectfully find you seeking 'most favoured status' for moon's posted viewpoints because of ideological agreement and value you put in his posts. That was clear the first time when you chastised those who call him anti-Semitic because they are deemed 'anti-Palestinian' by you.

Others find his posts way overboard to the point of being anti-Semitic. You would want us to shield him from that based upon your subjective opinions. You call such people bullies for calling him anti-Semitic based on your views of what that is and is not whilst they likely say they are speaking the truth as they see it.

While admins and mods have personal views on the Middle East and that theatre, we take absolutely no position on the Israeli-Palestinian issue on official moderating.

Our site will not load the dice for 'preferred points of view' for officiating. Moon is free to speak his mind as are others. And yes, this is precisely what Marc wants.
