Slur-mongering

Why are moderators so slow to act in instances of public libel ? Surely, these are against forum rules, just as 'insults', to state but one, but even multiple complaints can, sometimes, result in no action.

The moderation is fair, if members pursue their complaints beyond what would be reasonably expected, but leaving libel in posts, even after complaints have been lodged, reflects badly on its commitment, not to mention its impartiality.

Everybody accepts a little 'disguised' roughing-up. Heckling is an accepted part of public speaking, or should be, but blatant libel stinks. Libel 'lowers the quality of debate for everyone'.

Where's the action ?

Re: Slur-mongering

Uh-oh, I hear the mods coming! Looks like Moon might have criticized mod actions (or, in this case, inaction). A definite no-no.

Really ? I thought that this was what this section was for.

Edit;
Yes, it is. I've just checked with the previous threads.
This is a site policy discussion, not a criticism of any individual.

No moons point was to get some kind of special treatment that is not afforded to the rest of the posting population, and get some reaction from moderators and the board in general

in the end , the crickets are the mods ignoring his bullshit, and other posters mocking his pleas

which IMO is totally warrented cause moon is no victim period..................

You'll only get away with it for so long pal. And you might well be becoming an embarrassment.

Rakk, change your tampon, man. You're usually not so harsh. Where's the kind & gentle Rakk we've all come to love & admire?
