Thumbs down I don't mind the advertisements, but...

...can we get rid of those ads that show that sunken-eyed drunken he-b#@&#!!! Ann Coulter? I get tired of looking at its ugly face!

The meaning of the title of this thread apparently hasn't sunk into your mind yet, has it? I was just hoping USPOL could find something more worthy and useful to advertise.

You are operating under the erroneous assumption that the site controls which ads Google places in the banner.

Perhaps. I was under the impression that the forum administrators could pick and chose which ads they'd like to run.
Sad, isn't it, that Google has to re-run these Coulter ads so often. I could think of a lot more worthwhile things to advertise, couldn't you?

There is no such thing in this universe as a "free lunch", Donkey Left! You never get something for nothing and I'm not sure I'd want what that he/she was offering, even if it was "free"!

Even though I don't agree with some of her views and she kinda makes conservatives look bad...I'd still hit it. :-P

Yep, we don't control what google puts there. But since it is free to you and at a cost to her and her publishers, maybe the answer to Ann is to order multiple subscriptions to put in the trash.

Google ads are tailored to the page content. What happens is the Google bot searches the page for keywords, and then shows you an ad based upon that. There are also other factors they consider, such as your current location.
Anybody seen an ad for Palestinian olives ?
