More smilies......please!

I have just seen the impressive amount of smilies that the SkyscraperCity forum offer to its members - and I love smilies!

Below is some that I could use from time to time in here - and that's just to name a few!

Re: More smilies......please!

We have plenty. We don't really need more, but I can't say I would mind more.

You can also save smilies to myspace or etc and then link to them when you post.

Re: More smilies......please!

Here is my smiley collection that I have saved on photobucket. Now that you mention it I may look to add to it. I haven't done a search in a long time. BTW, adding smileys to the forum software is a Marc thing. OSB and I have limited admin permissions WRT the software.

Re: More smilies......please!

I like smilies. Though they are by no means necessary - and anyone who is good with words should be able to say anything without ever needing them - they make the discussions nicer.

Re: More smilies......please!

A smiley overhaul would be nice. As in:

-Addition of new smilies

-Reorganizing the ones we have (making a larger variety immediately accessible when making a post. No need for three different 'angry' smilies and three different 'happy' smilies, two different 'confused' smilies to be on hand and having to click 'more' for different ones)

-Just remove repeated smilies altogether.

Re: More smilies......please!

Wow, you've sure put a lot of thought into this haven't you Speakeasy?

I think to put it simply i'd like to see a few less reptative ones, maybe then replacing the vacant spaces with new more original and creative ones.

I mean for the love of God how many different ways can you have a simple smile?

Probably a little too much thought, yes.

You forgot the spaceship smilies. I think everyone should have at least one.

No no actually you bring up a good chance to make things a little better here.

I always thought the "mad" and "angry" smilies were good in the variance:

and some of the "scared" and "Eek" stuff too.

A few too many "sticking tongue out" ones too.

I'd like to see a "Pro Bush" smiley...

Also maybe one of "puke" and one for "sarcasm".

Yea, we'll see...

I agree, variety is nice, so I think two similar smilies is fine. Just maybe move one of the variations to the "more" section and leave only one immediately accessible.

Hey, we could probably get one smiley to do the job of both.

That'd be cool. Not sure what it would look like, though.
