If I were in Frank's shoes, I would want the others to leave this forum, too. Although Frank's views are distasteful to most of us here, he argues well, he does not engage in cheap shots, and he stays away from the overly inflamatory rhetoric. Bottom line, Frank knows how to deliver and unattractive message. He is very dangerous in that respect, IMO. The others bring him down and highlight his distasteful associations so it seems like it would be in his interest to see the others go, too.

What a load of crap! He couldn't debate in the Feds noose indictment thread so he accussed me of abusing Iraqi women and children. You obviously don't know any better because you weren't around when Phillip was active, now that guy was an awsome debater, truly did portray a horrid message with a very good delivery, and a generally likeable person. None of the WN loons are anything on him.

I need to get better about quoting the post that I'm responding to. I think that I overestimate my typing speed sometimes. I was trying to refer to Speakeasy's post.

I agree with you in your assessment of Frank. For the most part, while I disagree with many of his views, he is an intelligent and well-spoken (well-written?) opponent.

What I find amazing is that people like you and Brett actually believe that expressing ideas in such a manner will actually impact someone to the point of wanting to adopt them.

As soon as some says "Niggers this" or "Niggers that", I've little interest in holding any tye of actual conversation with them, because it's glaringly apparent, right from the onset, that they're unable to engage in a meaningful conversation.

If someone's not going to engage in a meaningful conversation, what's the point in conversing at all?

Unfortunately, unless we staged a coup and overthrew Marc as the administrator, we are bound to run the site as he sees fit. Until he declares such words as being off-limit, we can only deal with them on a case by case basis. Unfortunately, due to the large amount of times certain people use these words, most of them reported to us are not violations.

As I said, and as you proposed earlier, people need to stop participating in the threads if they want them gone. The only reason these threads are still being made is because we have so many posters ready and willing to rise to bait and keep the threads bumped to the top of the forums.

Other ways to combat this is to participate in other threads. This will bump them up and knock the threads you don't like down. You can rate the threads with one star (while this doesn't actually do much, it's certainly a way to express your disapproval).

It's really not that hard. The only times I've entered the threads in question is when I am required to check on a reported post.

I suppose if I had ever experienced a discussion with Phillip, I would be able to make that judgement. I have only talked with Frank and can only comment on Frank. It's hard to comment on something one doesn't know. But thanks for the crap comment.

Well what you said was ridiculous, as far as WN's go Frank is certainly not one of the more articulate ones...i guess you probably see it differently seeing as he doesn't think you abuse innocent women and children in the middle of a warzone.

Was it his views i was disputing? It was his delivery that, if when debating things, something gets more than he can handle, he accuses the poster of abusing civillians in a war zone. Have you ever seen anyone else say that?

But then again i'm not the one who spends all day everyday whinning and complaining about the WN crowd either.
