When you control for poverty, no "race" is any more or less violent than any other. It's far more useful to examine the causes of the poverty cycle and work to fix those.

I’ve noticed half of the members don’t even have a clue to what the real definition of racism even is.
It’s used so much for power holds and running platforms it’s lost it’s credibility to some, habituated lunacy into others.
Ex:
An organized ethnical group set on propagating, profiling, separatism and prejudice toward another.

Am I talking about the “KKK”, N.O.W., the “N.A.A.C.P” or all of the above???
Let me be so bold as to proclaim the ones complaining the most in this thread only see one racist group.

yes - in fact if you look at statistics on crimes of violence during history, you find that the incidence is higher during times of economic upheaval. This is well known. European records go back at least 500 years.

If we look at ethnic violence/tensions/bloody revolutions etc we see that often they occur during times of scarcity. If these events are more common in poorer nations - why should we be at all surprised?

It seems to be a HUMAN trait rather than related to race ... although perhaps even that is too narrow. Other species also can be extremely vicious when competing for scarce resources.

In fairness, Hank, I also don't see too many posts espousing the beliefs and ideals of NOW or the NAACP.

I suspect that if those posts did appear, they would be responded to in a similar fashion.

If a poster took 90% of the threads on this forum and only replaced the words Christians, Americans and white male with the words, “Blacks“, “Muslims” or “nation of Islam”, He would get some silly racism title by a lot of posters here.

its quite possible he's not Canadian. He used to swear black and blue that he was Australian (which was I presume since he was obsessed with race relations in Australia for most of the time I conversed with him). His entourage from other sites 'outed' him as a 'foreigner'.
