You seem to be assuming the position that people shouldn't listen too or watch media and media personalities that agree with and support their own ideas and beleifs.

Which is a natural thing for people to do.

You say that people that do so are generally incapable of thought or reasonable analysis of the ideas they have, which I wouldn't go so far as to say is accurate in reality.

Of COURSE. The world has ALWAYS had it's simpletons of every stripe. I'm going on the assumption (maybe incorrectly I admit) that you're not referring to these folks, because they're nothing new and will always BE.

I think people should be free to watch or listen to whatever they want. I do however think it's a negative that so many hang on these people's every word. I don't think all people are incapable of thought or reasonable analysis but I do think that many are or at least choose not to do those things.

Probably so. What can you do ?

We can't educate or enlighten the unwilling.

No but I do think pointing it out will make some people that do listen/watch these things think about them in a new way at least for a moment perhaps.

Re: Style Feedback Sought!

I was gonna say something about the style but it seems out of place now!

I think you're on the right track with the blue btw, i can see the country going that way anyway! (And there's a ton of bipartisan support for it too by the looks of it! )

Sorry.

Though it seems derailing it a bit got a poll started

I'll vote tomorrow probably. Hopefully we'll get nearly everyone to vote.

Then we'll need TFBM to come and ramble on endlessly about democracy
