How does one go about activating the ignore feature?

Re: Gone?

Ah it works. I never thought I'd need this feature again...

Re: Gone?

It has changed a little otherwise too, the management of the list is a little more difficult.

Also if someone quotes a user you have on ignore and you choose to look at the post it sometimes opens in a new broswer and sometimes not...that's annoying. Its the same with the "Who Posted" feature too which now opens in a new window and when you go close it using the X button you figure out you clicked on the button that closed the forum page!

I wonder if Ajaxpress could see your reply.

Re: Gone?

Personally, I don't use it. I do hope that others would use it on me, however.

Without other communication cues (such as body English, facial expressions, tone of voice, etc.), some of the posts I make seem to get misinterpreted quite easily. That's why I try to keep hyperbole out of posts (am not always sucessful, though). Also, I am not the type to seek attention, yet I get a bit more of it from some. It has me perplexed, yet it can be quite humorous at times, w.r.t. the obsessive nature it demonstrates.

We ALL have people we’re better off ignoring. The forum might be a better place if more use were made of this feature.

No I can see your posts just fine. It's mostly reserved for our non-English speaking posters who aren't even trying.
