You clearly implied that you will be "censored" because of your views, moon.

That's pure bullshit.
I didn't 'imply' it at all, I clearly stated that that was my belief. I'll extend that caution to other members with whom moderators have a policy problem.

Let's hope it's 'bullshit' because the proposal will be dumped, like it deserves.

I'm getting close to caring, moon. Really. (OK, not remotely)

Re: Potential Rule Change

As far as your antics are concerned, pretty much extinct.

For other, less abusive members, they are plentiful.

One reaps what one sows.

Matt

(Edit to add: Moon made a remark about the "rarity" of "caring moderators", then removed it. This was in response to that now "self-censored" post.)

Re: Potential Rule Change

This has been a most entertaining read.

Shouldn't we throw this out and move on to a different stupid thread somewhere ? About some OTHER stupid ideas ?

I'd say some of us need to find a few more ways to waste our time. On something useful maybe

Re: Potential Rule Change

Actually i think its been pretty useful, for all the whinning and complaining done most posters have been okay with it. Taking into account Kash's change of vote, it seems only a third of the forum who voted have any real objection to this rule being implemented.

I'm not at liberty to discuss your behaviour, Larson, so your attack is craven as well as inappropriate.

You're surely not trying to squeeze a conclusion in favor of your own opinion, are you Traveler ? The response is pitiful. I suggested a much fairer and more accurate gauge of opinion earlier.

We've had two opposing interpretations of the proposal from the mod camp, Imperator. Astound me with yours.

Re: Potential Rule Change

Well you wanted a free democratic vote on stuff, here's one...

Now do you wanna circumvent the will of the posters who have no rights to the rule being enforced or not in the first place?

I'd ask for your thoughts but I suspect they'd be habitually abrasive.
Ah, so you're big on "eDemocracy" so long as your vote is more equal that others?

So far, the majority opinion on the poll supports the rule.

And no, you don't have an "eVeto", moon. Your vote is worth no more or less than any other member.

You already did - you just went back and removed the evidence.

Kinda, well, dishonest to provoke a response, then remove your provocation and quote the response, no?

For the third time, Larson, get off my case.

Larson;

What a farce. Nobody has said that this will be decided by a simple majority. Nobody has said to which camp the 'nueturals' will be assigned, nobody has said what will be considered as a minimum sample of members votes. Yet what we have here is a mod claiming 'victory' because mods and a few friends vote for it ? Do me favor, try to construct a political forum with some sense of fair play and democratic values.

Re: Potential Rule Change

Repeat it as often as you like, moon - your attempt to censor my opinion will fail. First time, third time, three-hundredth time. I'll reject your attempted censorship every time you trot it out.

When you fabricate claims about censorship, you're going to have them exposed as nonsense.

The remedy, of course, is to cease your fabrications.

Re: Potential Rule Change

That's simply confused and pompous twaddle. I'm going to ignore it, Larson, out of respect for the OP and the membership that want to debate this through.

Unless you keep harping on, of course. So get off my case. Your call.

No propensity for censorship, just three demands for me not to speak.
