Re: Stop using the term "teabagger"

I though T-bag or teabag was slang for being British, but the Brits got no testicles.

Re: Stop using the term "teabagger"

I recentlly got banned permanently from a Far Right-Wing forum for using the term.

The OP WOULD have a point had not the GOP themselves not pick this term to call themselves unwittingly.

Too bad for them, its a perfectly acceptable term to call those delusional protesters.

I find "bottom-feeding-cock-gobblers" to be perfectly acceptable, as well, for describing libs...

I think that is the funny part of the whole thing. It's like starting a political group called "Citizens Opposing Congressional Kickbacks" and then getting huffy at what your detractors opt to call you. When picking out names for political (or really any kind of) movements, a little bit of forethought goes a long way.

Re: Stop using the term "teabagger"

so would it be fair to say that the republican party has moved on from the Party of No to the Party of Teabagging? AKA the Teabagging Party?

Basically.

Once again the Right-Wingers walked right into it, brought it on themselves.

But they do give a shit and are highly upset about it, thats why they would ban ppl for using the term, they themselves created for themselves, and thats why they would create threads admonishing people to stop using the term, that they themselves elected to choose for themselves...they have no-one to be upset at, except...themselves.

Re: Stop using the term "teabagger"

Teabaggers used the term first, to identify themselves, and it fits them to a T.
Once the word has entered the lexicon, especially when it's self inflicted, it's tough to remove it.
For example Steve is now forever a "bottom feeding cock gobbler", it's impossible to see his name and avatar without that popping into your head, nice job branding Steve.

Are you talking about USPOL, or the forum that did to you what USPOL should've done long ago?

That's a racist cartoon. Coming from you, though, that's no surprise...

Better a knuckle dragging thug than a Nazi, huh Red?

Just remind me again about your idea of we 'knuckle dragging thugs' being 'forced' to sewn confederate flags onto our clothes?

* LOL at the idea of any Liberal having the teabags to force anyone to do anything, because they are by definition cowards. *

Youre a moderator. Do you beleive all the insults being hurled are within the forum rules?
