Stop using the term "teabagger"

Tea bagging is putting your testicles in a persons mouth. This is not the same as protesting govt action by throwing tea bags in a canal. Its obvious some people on this forum are using the former to imply an insult against anyone protesting the govt. Stop it. It can be construed as violating the forum rules, clearly the spirit of the forum, and obviously is rude and unnecesary.

How exactly does it violate the forum rules?

I have no problem with it, so long as we can refer to libs as bottom-feeding cock-gobblers...

Re: Stop using the term "teabagger"

There are countless childish grade school level names that are thrown about here. We would be unable to just single out one of them. I wish you luck, though, because getting rid of not just "teabagger", but all these other childish remarks, would certainly make this place a lot better.

Re: Stop using the term "teabagger"

I am tired of the word racist, and have just been called one because I like my own culture and am not a walking sack of skin color guilt.

Go ahead. Call me a teabagger. It would be a refreshing change.

Better yet, ban the use of certain words on here and have a 'pot' on how long certain people can go without looking like Speak's avatar!

Re: Stop using the term "teabagger"

Racist is a accurate criticism in that it defines someone who treats someone different because of the color of their skin. It would wrong to call them a cocksucker, however. One is an opinion, the other is an insult. As with teabagger, it is being used to imply an insult.

Re: Stop using the term "teabagger"

Teabagger has entered the mainstream vocabulary, you aren't going to change all of society. For the 10% who actually knew what it meant before the last few months, its hilarious or an insult, depending on your perspective. For the other 90% they just think it means 'tax protester'.

Now move along poopoo-head.

The use of this term only serves as a dead giveaway of the users intellect and where his or her interests are focused.

I would encourage it's continued use as a good way to tell whether or not someone ought to be put onto your ignore list function.

It serves a very nice purpose actually

Indeed. I find it funny because I am a TEAbagger. Intelligent people will know the difference. I am not offended by being referred to as a teabagger (although it would be nice if they could grasp the difference between TEA and tea).

I'm also kinda hoping that the 'death panels' will include disposing of the terminally stupid. That should cull a LOT of liberals.

I am not assimulated into the Borg.

Anderson Cooper "It's Hard to Talk When You're Tea-bagging", guess he would know this.
He should have been removed after making this comment on the air.
