I downloaded Firefox here at work, but the IT guy didn't like me doing that & told me to uninstall it. First time I ever met an IT guy who didn't hate Internet Explorer.

Re: How come PR always has a dotted line under it?

If you hold your mouse over PR a thing comes up saying "page ranking."

Yea, I noticed this awhile ago and it always weirded me out. Now with Donkey's "page ranking" discovery, I'm even more scared.

Shhh...

There are actually odd little quirks like that all over the forum...some will have probably been noticed by others users, some not. (And some that none of us even know about.)

I think Rummt's attempt at explainning what i just tried was a lot better though, haha!

Oddly, whenever i ue firefox, i always see a line through the word "moderator" on any of the mods "profiles".

That one definately has to be the illuminati, giving its opinion of the mod team...

For a while I used to think that meant they used to be a moderator but got that duty cancelled (strikethrough).

Nah, its da Jew...

Actually, it might to do with the a usergroup, and it being created before forum upgrades were in place, thus when the new software came in, the errors stayed in place.

Re: How come PR always has a dotted line under it?

It is a google Page ranker.
Apparently Marc has PageRanker installed.

Checking... it doesn't show up on another forum...so guess that is the answer?

Re: How come PR always has a dotted line under it?

Nothing shows up in chrome or probably IE. It has to do with how the browser interprets the acronym tag. The acronym tag is designed to allow hovering your mouse over an abbreviation to tell you the abbreviation. I might write code:

<acronym="Fucked up beyond all repair">FUBAR</acronym> into an HTML page. The idea is that when you hover over FUBAR, it tells you what that stands for.

If it bothers you, you can probably disable the display underline in your Firefox settings.
