todays posts

I noticed when i use the "todays posts" link, not all new posts are found. for example ill look at "todays posts" and not see a new post that I know is in breaking news.

how does this work? and whats the best way to check all new posts?

You're kidding. You don't see the 'New Posts' link in the blue bar right above field?

Between 'calender' and 'search'? You don't see that?

to use new posts and have it work I gather. I use it all the time, its just very hit and miss.

THis is a privately owned site that takes money to run.

It is very inexpensive and the "new posts" will become available to you.
Why doesn't everyone get it? Essentially a forum is a database. Everytime you click anywhere within the forum the software has to search through the database to find your request. The most taxing is searches like "New Post" that search the entire database rather than a small section of it.
Since I have been here there have been two times the owner needed to move the site to a larger server, finally we are now sitting on a server host. That cost money.
