Re: Getting more members here...what you can do.

I have seen some fairly discouraging sites. Maybe this is one I can read with ease. I like to read about politics and so far I have seen nothing hear that is too rot or disgusting. Looks like your mods keep things sorted out to me.

You're kidding me. I don't want to be debating with Asscroft just yet.

True. But what we are talking about here is not your established members ... but newbies. You get the troll pouncing on some new kid, and that kid is history.
<snip>
You have moderators for the forums ... that is part of their "yob". However, this is not a massive task. Spank the troll a couple times and they normally shape up.

WOW!
Just directly after I had read this, I read Your post in Alleged Prisoner Abuse Photos
http://www.uspoliticsonline.com/foru...5&page=8&pp=15, (Your post 108)

I can assure You that "the new kids are not history" because of some trolls.
Merely because the discussion has a very low level.
As it has e.g. in this particular thread.
Or more precisely, there is no level in the discussion at all, almost nothing on the topic, just picking here and there. => racism all over, more hidden or just pure old racism.

This answer You gave W.E.B. Du Bois, who had directed his "loaded" question to EvilJ, who begun with his race-agenda in post # 2!

If You really are concerned about how to help a board where You have posted over 500 times, You could try to put an OP, any OP, on track again, if You see that it is derailed.
Naturally I see that there is a history between You and W.E.B. Du Bois, as You tell in Your post # 97,in that actual thread, but really, we should try ....

Well, I am not less guilty as You, because I will really begin to discuss racism on this Discussion Board.
Just that I will make an OP of the issue as soon as I come back from my next week trip to Latvia. (A good place to study racism, btw.)

Nice avatar indeed. The cross'nd bones and the hour glass. The surrender or run flag.
If I remember well, that must be the flag flied by emmanuel wynne, famous for being the first pirat flag ever sighted on the line of seas.

Is there any sea in texas?

Re: Getting more members here...what you can do.

I tried to get new members and they read this place and ran because of the high number of insults against race and cultures. They felt it was a cespool of tosh. Now I enjoy argueing some with the load of racists that have taken over here but I'm rare.

Ladies and gentelmen what you saw in the last moments of the Close Threads thread is the single greatest justification for what I proposed. You want more posters? Then may I humbly suggest you do something about it.

If memory serves me correctly, last time I looked there was already over 2,000 posters signed up for this web site. How many more do you want, Gort? 3,000? 4,000?

Its a question the board was asking, or didn't you read that far. As for me 1,999 gove or take a few would be just fine.

Re: Getting more members here...what you can do.

Well, I think the current 2000+ posters who are authorized to post here (minus those who are banned for violating the posting rules, and I know there are some posters who currently fall into that category) is plenty.
