U.S. deaths in Iraq, war on terror surpass 9/11 toll

I normally do not post body counts but I found this to be interesting. We have lost more Americans in the response to 9/11 than in the actual even itself.

But guys, you're forgetting about those tractors that were repaired. Surely it was all worth it.

I'm tempted to say: so what ?

America lost more men fighting the Japanese from 1941 to 1945 than in the actual attack at Pearl Harbour itself, does this mean you shouldn't have bothered fighting ?

Whether or not going to Iraq was the right way to fight the war on terror is another thing altogether

Actually we should have captured/killed him in the two chances we had PRIOR to 9/11...remember?
Yeah...everybody likes to forget that little tid-bit..we even had two jets flying behind the plane carrying him...Clinton called them off.

I'd say it's a little more serious to capture him after he actually committed crimes against our country than before, when there was no legal way to capture him.

5 years later.....WTF?

Makes no sense to quantify this way. If you want to challenge the wisdom or necessity of invading Iraq fine but bean-counting the dead is senseless.

Right as rain, and what the naysayers fail to point out is that WW11 wasn't supposed to be a cakewalk. I still remember the weeks not months speech and the limited engagement speech. Also, Maybe I missed something but I do believe not a single hijacker was Iraqi. I guess they left that out too.
