1) In 1947 the United Nations Partition Plan (UNGA Resolution 181) carved up Palestine giving the Arab majority a minority of the land.

2) The UN Security Council has refused to enact any UN Resolutions under Chapter 7 of the UN Charter even though they have conceded repeatedly that Israel has engaged in war crimes in violation of the 4th Geneva Conventions.

3) In July of 2004 the International Court of Justice ruled that the Jewish settlements in the Palestinian territories were illegal; the UN Security Council has done NOTHING to heavily sanction Israel for their continued settlement building.

4) As a part of the quarter the United Nations has remained silent while the United States has levied sanctions against the elected government of the occupied Palestinian people while Israel has gotten away scot free with war crimes.
