Re: what's going on in South Ossetia now?
agree 100%, I used to live in St. Petersburg for short time, they are quite different, it is like they understand that living in this wonderful city makes them more broad-thinkers, tolerate, and cosmopolitan same time, this is kind of "requirement" for "citizen of St. Petersburg". maybe they have also changed now, it was long time ago.

Well developed, well oiled money laundry scam is going in Ossetia, and as far as these criminals, involved in money laundry, are sitting in Kremlin and there in Ossetia, people will die ********** this guy is a puppet from Ossetian side who is involved in money laundry. |

And proves diversity, too - something not quite tolerated elsewhere in Russia, and certainly never in CCCP.

South Ossetians held yet another referendum to claim independence from Georgia over a year and a half ago, but Georgia is the one with the problem, since S. Ossetians use the rouble and are historically friendlier with the Russians than the Georgians. This thread, like so many others, has devolved into hyperbole and a blame game, but it looks like S. Ossetians and Georgians are about equally to blame for violating their own ceasefire agreements. It seem impossible to find out who exactly opened fire on whom, but that these two have been fighting on and off for almost 20 years, all because the S. Ossetians don't want to have anything to do with Georgia. The Georgian side claims that the other side opened fired and killed one of their military guys while the S. Ossetian leader claims that they opened fire on the guy after he and others on the Georgian side were firing on S. Ossetia, and he blames the Ukraine and the US for selling sniper rifles to the Georgian side. It's interesting to note that in 1992, Russia was an arbitor between the two sides and oversaw the ceasefire between the two. I dunno guys, maybe Russia can be blamed for excessive force, but it seems like they were clearly defending the S. Ossetians from the occupation of the Georgia side a few days ago. |
