Did you just call Condoleeza Rice a monkey? If you didn't, retract that and explain. If you did, at least have the balls to say it outright.

Hmm. One more in the administration who finally understands what a mess Iraq continues to be. Or is she just a white flag-waving surrender monkey?

So hard to tell, these days.
See, that's the problem with non-thinkers and anti-intellectuals, they were "goin' with thur gut!".

"Harder than she personally imagined". Condi, there was nothing to imagine that facts, wisdom, and good investigation could not have answered beforehand.

They didn't have a clue. They all just "felt" it. They "imagined" victory scenarios and parades of freedom and people dancing in the street as George Bush spread freedom dust all across the land. Fucking President Peter Pan!

Re: Condi Rice: Surrender Monkey?

Man, I call Obama "Golden Boy" (a nickname also bestowed on people like Oscar De La Hoya, Willima Holden, and Paul Hornung), and I'm called a racist by the libs here. But let a lib refer to Condi Rice as a "monkey", and the libs are silent in their criticism.

The idiocy and the hypocrisy are almost frightening...

Actually, it's worse even than that. They were, in fact, largely RIGHT that they could liberate Iraq and most of the populace DID dance in the streets. Remember Saddam's statue being torn down? BUT they then decided they could disband the old govt utterly and turn the inhabitants of the world's oldest nation into wards of the state and guinea pigs for the creation of the first Randian Democracy, and particularly, that their present culture and institutions deserved no respect whatsoever.

And there was also the fact that they then proceeded to steal everything that was sent over there, and everything that was there to boot.

Pure, fucking Republican arrogance and crooked mismanagement, that's why we didn't prevent 9/11 and failed in Iraq and are now bankrupt and facing a Depression.

But we gotta vote for McCain. Obama once knew a terrorist and McCain wears a flag on his lapel

Re: Condi Rice: Surrender Monkey?

A year ago an oil business man was interviewed and he said that it will take 30 yrs to pump (=rob) all the oil from Iraq. A day after Bush said in TV that the war will take long time before the democracy has been obtained ... up to 30 years.

The liberation of Iran will take 50 years as there are much more oil.

How many Americans really know what was said in the PNAC? I guess very few. And all these turning points have clearly been described there already 1999 - starting from 911 (p. 52 - New Pearl Harbor will be needed to support the war in M East). And also the continuous presence there is well described.

One thing the Bush Hawks did not understand - even if their oil and military industries gained billions, the US economy collapsed ... here we are now.

911 was already what they wanted in PNAC - license to kill (destroy Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, ....Iran, Syria, etc)
