I can do a mean Daffy Duck to compliment the Marvin the Martian impression.

So when does it start?

Hey now, that would be a pretty competitive category.

On a completely unrelated note, I've noticed my posts tend to come in runs around Friday and Saturday nights....it's so weird.

We can make a party of it with Speakeasy doing his Kermit the Frog as well...

I had a neighbour growing up who did an excellent Daffy - it is a very difficult one to do!

I've been doing a mean Donald Duck since I was a kid, too.

For those who don't know, this is a yearly event and a favorite among board members. Traditionally, a thread is started announcing the categories and nominations are sent via PM to the one organizing the event. This year, it will be me. Nominations are accepted for approximately two weeks. All nominees will be recognized in the thread, however only the top three will make it to the final vote. Polls are open for approximately two weeks. The winners get bragging rights for the next year

I'm open to any and all ideas you may have. I know we are going to add a new category this time around: "Rookie of the Year" (Thank you Michael for that idea). To be eligible for this new category nominees must have registered sometime during or after October 2005. Sound fair? I would like to add a category for threads (favorite thread, most memorable thread, thread worth reading, or something like that). I would also like to do something that recognizes the USPOL team, but I'm not sure what. I plan on announcing all the final categories and begin accepting nominations the second week in October. Remember, this is a positive event and let's keep it that way.

The categories are:

1.) Best Signature
2.) Best Avatar (Both this and signatures do change so you can vote for a past one)
3.) Poster who uses most analogies
4.) Poster who uses most links
5.) Most active Poster
6.) Funniest poster
7.) Poster who gets their point across with the fewest words
8.) Most diplomatic poster
9.) Most helpful/considerate poster
10.) Poster most likely to change your mind about something
11.) Most informative poster
12.) Most spiritual poster (not necessarily Religious)
13.) Most optimistic poster
14.) Poster everyone seems to like
15.) Poster you would most like to have a beer with
16.) Most rational Poster
17.) Poster that starts the most interesting threads
18.) Most Patriotic poster
19.) Poster most likely to be a computer macro
20.) US Politics Online Poster of the year (this is for the best all rounder, someone who epitomizes all that’s good about the forum)
How about poster who dont get any point across with the most words
