I may also create a headline on the top of the page that shows up just for new members that have not yet met the criteria. It would basically say "Unable to create your own thread? Click here for more information!"

Like I said, the welcome e-mail now explains specifically why they can't start their own threads and what to do to remedy it.

10. Signatures cannot be any larger then the site banner. Animation is okay, but it should not interfere with how long it takes a page to load. Please try to keep them no bigger then 250 pixels high X 800 pixels and 75k bytes. Hotlinked photos should not be any larger then 800 X 600 pixels.

Uploading pics isn't working for anyone right now. It needs to be fixed. WRT avatars, the file size might be too big. I, along with a few others, have photoshop and can compress it. The file has to be less then 3000 bytes.

Me too, AC... it's a new experience, but one I think I'll be able to live with... but I have a question...

Is suggesting that someone has a reading comprehension problem an insult? Cuz when someone did that to me yesterday, I smacked them upside their screen... only to find that post gone this morning... Should I have just reported it instead?
