The following is notice of the reason the Secret Society of Salamanders, a private forum, has been deleted from the database.

During non-routine backboard Administration tasks in the forum, the SSS forum popped open for the entire forum and any other Internet googlers for all to see due to a system glitch that the Administration is currently working to fix. The recloaking of the forum could not be remedied, and therefore it was decided that the forum be immediately deleted in order to protect any information and comments that the membership might not want to be generally exposed to the forum membership and/or Internet.

Should the private forum wish to be reconstituted, those authorised to do so should please contact the Administration and we will reopen the forum in a new private subforum.

The area of concern has been identified and therefore private forums will remain generally invisible as they normally do. So in short, don't panic that they will pop open. Those who have been here for any period of time know such an event is a fluke. But for future reference should something like that occur again, please notify the Administration immediately so we can immediately address the situation.
