Hey All, 29 year old Right of center who hasn't seen much impressive debate on this site yet. In my opinion too much of the same, "Micheal Moore is Fat", "Bush is Dumb" arguments with not much merit. I will continue to check and chime in if I have something to say...

HI all, I'm andrew, but you may refer to me as Wheresmycountry. Im 17 and for a weird reason im in my second year of college. Im thinking of being a Pollitical Science major, but thats up for debate.
I don't know where i stand as far as a pollitical party, i think im like stretched out over most of the middle. Im pro-life, but understand the arguements of pro-choicers, but i am not conservative in my beleifs on government.
I am also a teenager and don't know everything, feel free to correct me as long as i can argue back.
I am most certainly against a draft at this time, for obvious reasons.
At this time I am for heavy gun control and heavily against the war in iraq but verymuch for afghanistan. I am from spokane, washington (the state) but i will soon move to texas. With my family so i can attend the UNiversity of NOrth Texas.
About my Username, i feel that over the past 30 years the US, though the incredible super it is has lost its virtue, scandal after scandal. I would like to see Intregity in the whitehouse free of scandals and deceptions.

oh that is funny. Yeah i just look at the vision of democracy i saw in 8th grade and now im in college look at how our government eally functions. it kinda makes me sad. Thanks for you're reply

Good Morning,

I'm Ianmac37. The 37 stands for my year of birth, so I'm one of the oldest on this blog. I'm a retired economist who worked for the CIA for over 20 years as an analyst, so I will offer corrections from time to time when I see mistaken remarks about how the CIA is organized and what is really done there. I was an open employee, not under cover except when I traveled overseas and then it was laughingly light cover that any fool could see through. When I applied for credit I put the CIA down as my employer.

I am married and have two children, alleged adults both, and I work part time in the tourist industry here in Florida. I am an independent who is currently registered as a Democrat (otherwise you cannot vote in any primaries in Florida) but I have been a registered Republican at times.

I am interested in politics, China, economics, history, and science fiction. I was an electronics technician back in the days when computers were built with vacuum tubes (I still put my own computers together, but not stick by stick), and I was a private detective (with the old and real Pinkerton's National Detective Agency Inc., not the new one who just bought the name after it went bankrupt in the 1970s).

I am interested in how propaganda works and bias in the news media and on the internet. We live our life swimming in a sea of misinformation and self-promotion. Surprisingly, most people can tell which is BS and which contains reasonable information -- except where politics are concerned!

China? Because my second language is Chinese and that is the country on which I did economic research during my first ten years with the CIA. After the Chinese started publishing economic statistics we needed much less effort on that, so I performed other avenues of research.
