Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

The reason for the Big Ten's name isn't silly... although revising the name to "The Big Ten (plus a little one)" might be more accurate. You know who the little one is don't you? Northwestern of course!

Anyway, nice to meet you! Hope to SI modo you!

Of course it's Northwestern. I guess you Nittanys are an OK lot and fit right in, then.

Spell check is in the top right hand corner of the grey box. You need to install iSpell.

To quote...
[/Qu ote] in the beginning of the quote (minus the space)
[Qu ote] at the end of the quote (minus the space)

To quote someone else...

[/QUOTE =name] minus the big space between QUOTE and =

At least that is how I do it.

Right or wrong... it works for me.

Hey, another Northern Kentuckian! Welcome to the board. I live near Falmouth now, but I grew up in Boone County.

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

Hello everyone. My name is Alec, I am a History-Political Science double major at Drexel University. This is my senior year and following graduation I plan on entering the Marine Corps. I am registered as a democrat but only because the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania requires voters to be part of a major political party to participate in primary election. I find myself interested in international politics, the federal judiciary, and public policy.

Oh nooooooo, Mr. Bill. Another Pennsylvanian! (cool, though)

Welcome.

And after looking at JackMc185's recent posts here, you may already have a good pal at USPOL.

Obviously you haven't noticed that this thread is for friendly welcome to new members. Are you one of those guests at the party who needs to be kept in the kitchen and away from the new folks?

I respectfully and sincerely apologize.

Why? You responded in kind to a moronic statement about democrats and Marines. Seemed OK to me.

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

I just joined and I look forward to learning and sharing here. I'm a libertarian in my views, but no longer a card-carrying Libertarian because I thought Bob Barr was a lousy choice.

I live in the southeast now but attended Penn State. I mention it because I saw someone mentioned Nittany on the previous page of this thread. Go Nittany Lions!

BTW thanks, Marc for expediting my registration.
