I'm glad that my intuition was correct...it is very unusual for a successful 59-year-old American to call for the mass-murder of anybody.
True enough. Sorry about that. It was rather distasteful for me to play the roll like that but the mind of a person that far into the fanatical beliefs is a scary yet fascinating place to be. One reason I ended the roll was it was starting to become a bit uncomfortable pushing the boundaries of my own psyche for that.

Now the question is, will you stick around, with more honest opinions?
I probably will. Though definately not quite as vocal.

True that would probably be a good idea. However I am not sure how to do so without signing up for a whole new account. I will look at the user control panel and see what I can do, but if you or anyone else have any suggestions I would be more than glad to hear them.

Send a PM to an administrator (OSB) requesting a name change along with your new name, he'll take care of it for you.

Ahh thank you. I'll see what i can do about it. Umm I take it administrators are above moderators? Now how do I contact them? And sorry for sound like an idiot. I'm definately in the user category when it comes to the internet and computers in general I can tear the engine out of a car down to the bolts and yet get stumped by the stupidest stuff on computers that a 13 year old breezes through.

None of you will be directly referenced in the paper nor will the website itself only in background data as this is not the only website I have used for research purposes nor the only character.

By taking such a rabidly oppositional position to the apparently prevalent one, yet still using similar methodology from the right wing opposites such as metalted I wanted to see what the reaction would be. As of this 6 people made realtively negative comments in public. 1 made strongly condeming comments in public as well as in a private message, 2 made strongly positive comments in a private message, and none made any really positive comments of any sort in public.

That is rather interesting and comforting to see. Although I will admit that I still do not see as much negativity directed at those who advocate right wing projects so strongly. It does definately appear that republican and right wing/pro-capitalism ideas are greeted warmly while anythign oppositional to that is not. Very fascinating.

I am in actuality a 36 year old farmer/mechanic/oddjobber/college student with a family that is just trying to get by the best he can. And while my personal attitudes and beliefs do lean quite a bit left they do not lean quite as far as I had been portraying them. As the research portion of my paper is compleated I will be continuing to participate sporadically in discussions as my true personal beliefs. Which should be somewhat different but similar in many ways.

Thank you for you assistence, consideration and the interesting data I have acquired.
To cover all bases in your paper, you may want to acknowledge the fact that some prefer to observe new folks for a bit so that they can get a better idea of their style, tactics, and ideology before engaging them.

Welcome.

Ohio? I used to live in pittsburgh... I was in a cover band out there in 2000, we played in Youngstown Ohio once... at a place called POGO's. Horrible place, just horrible. We got lost on the wrong end of MLK Blvd. at 3AM. I really didn't think my whitebread ass was going to see home again.

LOL. I was born there and moved away before I was even a year old, so I didn't remember much of Ohio at all. I did live in a 'burb of Cleveland for a bit less than a year, though, as an adult. It's not so bad, but I was not too much of a fan of the Youngstown/Warren area. I did have to go there for business a few times back when - not much to do there but hang out in your hotel room.

Si Modo: Thank you. Yeah I will be making a note of that.

Ohio is where I was born and raised. I'm the 3rd generation on the same family farm. Hopefully my kids will be the 4th but I can tell you this economy is not comfortable for farmers. Especially small farmers. I have been to cleaveland once in my life as I try and stay out of cities as much as I possibly can. I'm a country boy and love it.

Melanie: Ahh thank you very very much. I will do so right now. Expect me when you see me in my new form. Most likely the ident I use everywhere else in public on the web. Rahmota

And it is getting worse....I was in Cleveland over the summer, and managed to get lost with a couple of friends in the dead zone. IE that large hunk of city where the police don't even go. Scary stuff. Glad I made it out alive.

Of course, I'm not one to be talking, I'm surrounded by the ghetto where I live now, too .

I suspected you live in Ohio, because I've only ever heard of the term "Appalachia" from those cheesy "Come visit Ohio!" tourism ads the state puts on. So I take it you're in the southeastern part of the state? Beautiful land, loved camping down there...

Must be something with OH. I live in Cincinnati (Over the Rhine) for about a year (back in 92).... and that was enough of that. Brought my ass back across the bridge where I belong. It's amazing what difference there is once you cross a bridge... shew. I had a blast while I lived there, I am just not into getting shot at.

Really? I know four comapnies that use it in their name around here not to mention the Applachian Highway Rt 32, Appalachian Transit Corrider, Appalachian Resource and Development center etc.... Must be one of those regional quirks.

Actually more south central, right on the border between Appalchai and the glaciated plains of Ohio. Cincinnati is about an hour west of me by rt 32 and Hocking hills, Wayne National Forest is basically in spitting distance from me. I can be in kentucky in about a 1/2 an hour by the roads. Less If i could do a straight line. But yeah definately agree with you on the quality of the scenery around here.

You lived in OTR? OMG. They use OTR as training grounds for the Ohio Guard before they go to Iraq. Which is really sad as I remember grandpa talking about how nice OTR used to be way back in the 20s and 30s. But yeah it is really a big difference from one end of the bridge to the other. Almost like two different states.

Lol, but its true. Cincinatti is part in Ohio, part in Kentucky....well, it is officialy in Ohio, but the greater metropolitan area is in Kentucky as well. I've got some friends going to school there, and yes, they dodge bullets.

Hell, my neighborhood has the 2nd highest homicides per capita in the country. Last year, there were I think 20+ homicides within 5 miles of me. I've learned to be extremely polite to everyone I meet, gangbanger or not...

I never knew there was so much Appalachian pride! Yeah, it is pretty unknown around Cleveland....and Cleveland doesn't have much pride left, itself(cept the Drew Carey song and Lebron James).

Ya know, I'm not entirely certain, but I think I've been camping in Wayne Forest before. I remembe getting lost down there and not seeing any other humans for like 5 hours! Good times!
