Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

Hello all,
Been lurking around here for a little while, and thought I would make it official.

I am a conservative, and live in rural Ohio, hence the user name.

See you in the forums!

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

Hi there.....I am a member of the vast right wing conspiracy of people who WORK....I enjoy oppressing the weak, exploiting the poor, and tricking the unedumacted....I am a States Rights conservative who believes that sadly this nation may be too far past the edge totalitarianism to turn back and that secession is probably our only viable alternative to regaining freedom and a constitutional government. Deo Vendice!!!

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

Good evening,

I have no political affiliations, I am a true independent. I have enjoyed reading may threads etc, so I thought I would register and join the fray...

Neat sight, look forward to a good exchange of thought.

Your first post suggested that you have a certain amount of intelligence and the ability to reason. Try to hang on to both.

Hello all, I've just joined the forum today.

I'm from a very small rural town in southeast Texas, but don't let that fool you.

Not sure what else to say, but I hope I enjoy posting here, and that anyone who happens to read my posts enjoys those as well!

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

Hello all! I have just joined today and I am a right-wing conservative. I know people like me are a minority in my state, but I'm okay with that. I'd like to have some good political discussions. However, unlike some of my political "comrades" I am quite open-minded to the other side and I do not like bashing people.

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

Hello all. I am from Yahoo Answers. I've been over there for quite a while and wanted something different. Um ... I'm not too comfortable posting any personal information like some of you others, so without getting into the nitty gritty details; I am 25, I live in New York state, I am unemployed living off my savings. But, it's all good, because I have a disability.

Well, minus the fact that I'm not diagnosed for it because the meds they want me to take would kill me in a number of ways, and the fact that I would never even attempt to apply for disability. I'm really thankful for alternative medicine.

I won't lie to you, my life hasn't been pretty, and Yeah I've seen some things. But, so what? I am what I am, I suppose I tend to have a unique outlook on life too. I don't know what that is, I can't define it yet because I don't really have the words. It's just a dot in the space inside my head.

My dad asked me once what I stood for politically when I was young, and I didn't really know how to answer him. I told him "Liberal" because they sounded nice on TV and JFK was "cool" because that's what they all say. Well I don't know how I feel about the Kennedy's but I'm anything but static today.

I spent a lot of time pushing for Obama during the campaign but ultimately I didn't vote due to the popular vote in my state of New York. But by the end of the election something inside of me changed. I spent months without even glancing at the top stories in the local news. By the end of it I would start to examine myself all over again, and all of my surroundings.

Look... I'm just way too deep for all this gajizzle. I'm changing! I'm moving right, distant right in the eyes of other liberals, yet I retain my left leaning composition in a number of ways, and the end result is something completely new and different; pragmatic but not independent. The only thing I know is, I don't take sides... I'm on MY side, no one else's.

Well, that's all I got to say about that.
If it sounds confusing, give it some time, as you get to know me it will all make sense.
