Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

Hello

I'm new to the board. I'm a 28 yo Norwegian.
As most Norwegians, I'm a Social Democrat, but with libertarian tendencies. I'm also an Atheist. Beside being politically active. I think you can fairly easily claim I'm a political nut. I find all politics very interesting and US politics have a special place in my heart. Kinda a love hate relationship really. =)

I can be at times very rude and assertive. The reason for that is rather twofold, one is that I believe I'm right, second is often to provoke a reaction. I find people say what they really mean when they get mad and provoked. Kinda like Khrushchev. Your understanding grows by that if you don't bother beating around the bush with niceties but get to the heart of the issue. That doesn't mean I disrespect you though. It's just a debate tool. If that happens to you, don't take it personally. I find that a fair disclaimer.

So, if your a passionate Christian Conservative. Hi, I'm Muth. Fair warning. Get your sources in order. I'm sure you'll hear more from me. I find I'm more and more like Christopher Hitchens these days... So lets hope your not timid. Or this isn't going to be fun.

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

How's it going everyone, new member here. And this guy posting above me sounds like a douche. Sorry Mr. Social Democrat, I don't have my sources in order, but you can still quote me on that. I'm pretty positive of this.

Hey everybody. I'm an outdoorsman, gun toting, bible thumping, pass the grits kind of guy. Conservative and hoping the GOP will become conservative once again.

I respect and defend your God given right to an opinion, even if I don't respect your opinion.

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

I'm 27 and live in Dallas, TX. I'm having trouble with the penal code for the State of Texas. That is why I'm here. I do realize that this is a very emotional subject and would like someone to give me advice on where to start. I really need to write to someone out there who will hear my voice and possibly help my situation. Can anyone give me advice on who I should talk to about this states DWI punishment system?

well, you have to wait 30 days after joining before you can start a thread. At that time, you might put a thread in the "Popular Crime Stories and Trials" forum. That way, you can set a discussion topic.

Until then, you might just want to follow or comment on ongoing threads that interest you.

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

New guy here (I registered a week or so ago, Suppose I should get to posting eh?) I've been reading the boards for upwards of 2 months, just didn't feel like registering.

I'm a 19 year old college student from Houston, Tx. Currently attending college, majoring in computer science w/ minor in buisness.

Politically, I'm conservative and I suppose libertarian. Kinda fall into the ron paul category, just... not THAT conservative.

Other than that... I probably won't post much and continue reading :O

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

Hi. I am a 30-year-old stay-at-home mom, married to the military. Recently I've begun diving into politics and am interested in hearing the opinions of others and stating/shaping the opinions of myself. I have been greatly encouraged the last couple of weeks to see so many Americans finding their voice, no matter what party they are affiliated with. I am thinking about going back to school for constitutional law or political science.
