Welcome to U.S. Politics. We take our politics seriously, but hopefully, we don't take ourselves as seriously.
I'm impressed with your command of so many languages. We Americans are very poorly equipped for conversing with the rest of the world. At best, we speak two languages and typically don't speak a second language very well.
My first trip to Europe was to visit Saab in Sweden. It was such an easy transition with 100% of the people speaking fluent English that I would forget that I wasn't in the States. I loved the people that I met there, too. Very friendly easy-going people.

Hi everyone. The name is Jim but Scribbler, or just Scrib is more than fine with me. I've been posting on forums like this for about 18 years and just left one I'd been on for a year and a half. I hope to be on this one a lot longer.
Politically (and in everyday life) I am a realist. I'm registered Libertarian (about 14 years) but I accept the good in all political philosophies and condemn the bad. In other words, nobody here is going to like me!
I'm easy to get along with and I value fairness and politeness over ideology. We all have out own viewpoints and they are all worthy of respect.

Of course, MINE is the only correct viewpoint and the sooner you all get used to it the better off we'll all be.

I look forward to some good conversation and I'll see you all around.
