I wish I did I'm on a SORT team, so I don't deal much with tickets anymore.

I am 15 years old, a believer in Bush and most of his actions, yet I feel there can be two sides to every story. I also love to debate.

Welcome to the party!!

BTW, I'm 18 and voted for Bush, I support, and have supported both wars, but I'm also very much of a libertarian, even though I am registered as a Republican.

Welcome...and I'd say that your opinion on Bush matches many of my own, some good, some bad.

Ditto that! Welcome. There's plenty of debate to go around.

Samantha, SORT team? I guess you work for a pretty decent sized agency eh?

Kia Ora

My name is Rob and I am from NZ. I live on the east coast of the South Island in Christchurch. I am a left leaning moderate, though I really don't have all that much time for either conservative or socialist ideology.

As US politics go, had I been able to vote in the US elections it would have been for neither Bush or Kerry. I believe the US needs a third party to keep the Republicans and Democrats honest, and right now I do not see that. The Democrats are also not worthy of the left-leaning label because they have slid so far to the right, that they are simply the more socialist of two conservative parties.

I am a believer in the UN, but not in its current form or the one Kofi Annan espouses. It needs to be scaled down, the non American offices dispersed to the non-American corners of the world and the criteria for getting onto its committees overhauled (I favour using your nations record for particular issues decide who gets on the respective committee). This would prevent blatant violators of international law from getting any rewards for being backward, oppressive and everything else that goes with being a dictatorship.

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

I signed in this morning 4/13 and would like to test the waters before jumping into the debate. My background was 40 years of Republican promotion but had to leave the party in 1992. I worked for Perot, joined the LP and have been shocked at what has happened to America.

I'm researching this dilemma and where I went wrong in wanting a limited government run by men of moral ethics. I'm from a different generation with strong memories of WW2 when the spirit of America was strong and active. I can't put my finger in where this went and why.
