Just signed up today. Why Batman? He's been my favorite hero since childhood and he's a crusader fighting for what he believes is right. Which is my political leaning.

I came here through my good friend Michael. I'm 28 years old, and I live in the Netherlands. Married and no kids (yet

). My wife works for the Dutch Labour party (a left wing party) and she often tells me I'm more of a left-winger than she is. So be prepared

I have a lot to do with the US through my work (which is in aerospace/defence). Hope to learn and contribute here

I'm a 24 year old married man living in the great American shithole. I'm a devout libertarian and feel that our privacy is being forsaken so that someone, somewhere can make a buck. I hate how the government diverts attention away from the real problems by throwing up these trivial issues such as gay marriage.

I'm very observant and analytical and I can tell you more about yourself than any shrink if you want me to. If you ever want to find out someone's alterior motive, ask me. I'll be more than happy to burst someone's bubble.

I also like to shock people by saying incredibly harsh things, so prepare yourself.

Yeah i have to ask the question that whilst being here in London i've noticed practically everyone here is to the left in one way or another apart from the staunch hard conservatives yet half of those on the left seem to support the Iraq war and support Blair's policies on things like ASBO's (U.S. folks won't knowwhat that is) and things which are traditionally conservatives. It seems like most on the left here would actually be right wingers back in America. No wonder the conservatives can't get a look in with Labor (orshould i say newLabor) being so centrist with right wing policies! I mean just a year or so agao they banned infanticide and limited abortion to 12 weeks. Wow!
