Hello,
I'm from Pakistan. I'm not a good writer -in English, but I'm here to read you more and write less. I know how American politics affect my region. That makes me available to you to criticize.

You;ll find that the US has no more harsher critics than its' citizens. More of your fellow patiskanis' should read sthis board.

Your english is fine (much better than my embarassing almost total lack of a second language). Feel free to input your observations, it is good to have another perspective.

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

Hello! I'm from the Chicago area and consider myself on the left - but not way way far over on the left. I'm a family guy with a full time job and a passionate opposition to the Bush Administration.

I look forward to talking with y'all.

Yeah, why do all psych majors, except for my daughter, gravitate to the Democratic Party?
Is it the fact that all of your professors are liberals and you're incapable of independent thought or something else? J/K....Welcome.

dunno...perhaps its because professors know alot about the world, and after gaining all that knowledge, they see that being liberal is the better way to go

i think, therefore i am democrat

and thanks for the welcome

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

Well, actually I think it is a bit late to introduce myself since I've been a member of this brilliant forum for quite some time now. In short, I work part-time as a social worker in a municipality in Sweden, and I have a MA in political science as well as a diploma in Russian politics from Russia.
I have a question: how many (active) users do this forum have?
