Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

Intro....hmmmm. Married, father of two, semi-retired and trying to perfect golf swing. I'm from the conservative side of the room, my wife is from the liberal side. I think she's allowed to be wrong, she thinks I'm allowed to be wrong. Seems to be working, we've been married since Christ was a corporal. The rest should become apparent as time goes by.

She left for Paris this evening. Three days, count 'em, three!!!!! Semi-bachelor status. Golf, good food that's bad for me and no whining. Do you know the difference between a jet engine and a flight attendant? The engine quits whining at the gate.

Hmmm, if this is what conservative husbands are like, remind me to find a liberal one

This is what husbands are like. Left / right doesn't matter. As a friend once said, approaching an anniversary, "Some people get less than that for murder."

Nah, not all husbands are like that. I know several that actually respect their wives

So much for your warm welcome, eh Sam? Don't worry, I never hold liberals to their word.

BTW, welcome BDaileyPLS3060. You'll find the water can be both deep AND warm here in USPOL.

Hello Hank's daughter. I have a princess of my own. My oldest daughter, 24, has been the family's princess since she was born. She still wears her tiara occasionally.

If you look carefully you will see winks and smiles. Those mean a joking manner. There is no bashing going on. You guys really need a sense of humor.
