My father was an electronics engineer, and his speciality was medical engineering for most of his working life. In the end, he switched to robotics.

LOL. I've heard it's a fact that in the US when you meet someone for the first time you ask what sort of car they drive. In Oz the question is "What do you do for a living (that is, your profession)?

I don't work and I don't have a car! I like not being pigeon-holed!
