Welcome Political Hack.

Yep, when I read your location, I thought, "What vast right wing?"

See you around the forum...

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

Hi Y'all. I've been around for a weekend nearly. I'm a middle school social studies teacher. I have some opinions on some topics, but am always open to input.

I tend conservative, but as stated, I am open for new perspectives. So far, I find this a wonderful site.

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, private school for the past 8 years. Next year I'll be applying to public schools, but I have pressing family issues right now, so I'll stay where I am.

Prior to this position I exclusively subbed two years in public schools and taught two years of 'at risk' high school students in public schools, constitution-federal and Illinois. 12 years later, several of those at risk kids still send me letters and Christmas cards.

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

Hello,
I'm from the UK and extremely interesting in America politics. I have always had a interest the US and have travelled to your great country on many occassions.

However, I have to admit I had become dishearted with America since it had dragged the UK into an illegal War in Iraq.

I am a supporter of Tony Blair and was saddened and dismayed in the way Bush has used him to limit America's isolation from World politics.

Dispite my beliefs I know in my heart that American people are in general good and compassionate folk. I just need to know what makes you tick politically just so I can believe this world we live in hopefully holds some future.

Welcome. Unfortunately, I suspect your time here will only lead to more confusion, and certainly no clarity.
