Finally! Someone noticed! I changed it just to see if anyone picked up on it, don't worry it doesn't mean i had a huge fall out with my wife or anything (things couldn't be better for and between us).

Loads of people change their name to pretending to be banned so no point in doing that so i figured woman hater. Its absolutely ridiculous how women can get away with bashing men in the name of femenism and men can't bash women in the name of chauvanism. When some pathetic woman say something and claim its in the cause of women's rights its so annoying so now i think we as men should start doing all the same (for male causes) in the name of "Mens rights"

Try not to get carried away with Pram calling you a rational thinker...

I'm not a neo con, but often get labelled as one.

So you're a sort of semi-detatched Rumsfeld groupie? Good for you!

Glad to hear it! I must admit my first thought was "oh oh, something's gone sour"!

I admire the women who campaigned for rights in the era when women fought for the vote, equal pay for equal work, access to education, etc, but I could not relate to the issues that characterised the feminist movement when I was a young woman in the 1970’s.

There are real “men’s rights” issues, but I don’t see the point in men “doing the same” as extreme feminists.

When I went to university, I stayed away from classes in gender and/or sexual politics, because the real issues were sidelined.

Welcome annakey!

I have a background in social science. I also like history, including trade union and social movement history.

See you around the forum.

Hi everyone! I am Hollybaere.

You might find me to be a bit on the left, but I do consider all possibilities.

I hope to be able to contribute some interesting thoughts here.

Hello

I'm Danol (well, I think you've allready guess that )
First I've to excuse me for my bad english, my native language is german and the english education is starting very late here, so please consider that.
This site I found because someone wrotes about it in an german forum about politics, so I decided to look in.
Politically it depends to the topic if you'll find me on the left or right side of the spectrum, I don't think that politics could follow one ideology but must be able to think about all posible answers for each question, so it's hard to say I'm politically "left" or "right".

Hopefully we'll have interesting discussions, despite my constricted knowledge of these language

Welcome

Don't worry, your English is fine. As long as I can understand what you're saying it's good enough for me.

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

First off, thanks for letting me in.
I'm a 52yr old white guy from Northern Ca and Very conservative.
I retired at 47 as a defense contractor with the U.S. Gov. I own an alternative energy co. specializing in off grid applications.
I do it because I love it, not because some lib thinks its good for the environment. Because that is a Great Big Freakin Lie!
Most think I'm a tree hugger, but for what its worth 97% of my customers are conservative. Go figure! I guess for libs. its do as I say, not as I do.
So, let the festivities begin.
