Howdy partners, I have been reading things on here for a while, just joined the other day, it's all extremely interesting. There's a lot of fairly impressive political awareness going on. I hope to learn more about U.S domestic politics and contribute when I have the time (mainly on interpol!).

Hey all,

I've been a regular contributor to a couple other forums but I found that the politics and partisanship at them was unbearable. A friend recommended this place so here I am. So far I am pleased with the atmosphere and the level of discussion.

I am on route to becoming an academic economist but in life it seems things never happen as we expect them to. Regardless, I expect to be doing something related to economic for the rest of my life. I consider myself an applied microeconomic theorist

I am a fairly liberally minded person.

Hi, lostinacause…I already read one of your posts, so doing it a bit backward here welcoming you to the forum now. But welcome nonetheless. I joined USPO a year ago, also after no longer being able to cope with the goings-on where I used to post.

I wish you luck with your academic and career pursuits. Sounds very interesting and worthwhile. Economics is not my forte.
