This is a beautiful sentiment on so many levels.

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

Okay, well I have been here for a few days and just now saw this thread, I guess it is only polite to introduce myself. I am a 25 year old design student in my last semester. I am an avid supporter of the Constitution, yet I in no way endorse Ron Paul. I am a big time reader and am just now finishing reading The End of America: Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot. I have lost all faith in politicians, but I refuse to lose faith in America. I am outspoken, but I am willing to consider opposing views. I hope we can all get along and have some good conversations.

Hi hmarroqu, welcome to the forum.
I'm learning too, at least your smarter because you're learning at an earlier age.

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

Hullo.

This thread seems increda-long and perhaps outdated. But I figure a courtesy hello is still in order.

I'm 37 years old. A conservative liberal moderate. Parent of two. Engaged to be married to a goddess. (Which elevates me to consort? or demigod? Still working on the specifics.) Work for a newspaper company by day, play guitar and sing by night. I type approximately 120 wpm so I can't say anything in 20 words if there's a potential for using 500. It's a shortcoming of mine, but I hope you'll bear with me.

I registered here last year sometime, but never got around to posting or even browsing too much. I've posted on political boards for about 7 years now. Recently left another board where even tho I'd been there for 6 years, so many old members had left or weren't posting regularly that I didn't seem to quite fit in with the regulars anymore. Figured I'd give this board a shot as so far I've been quite impressed with the quality of the posts I've read.

Seeya on the boards

Re: The Introduce Yourself thread!

I just joined. I read that you have to wait 30 days to post a new thread. Can I do it sooner? I want to post one about a new website I just created:

Home

Nothing sold, no products whatsoever, just information and opinion

I am still interested in participating in the discussions too. I am not just here for posting my site. I plan on posting frequently.

Thanks.
