Logic 101
It isn't necessary that he prove those negative assertions, since he was responding to your own affirmative claim that Saddam Hussein had a nuclear weapons program. Since yours was the affirmative claim, the burden of proof is on you to prove that he did have the things that Pramjockey claims that he didn't.

You are incorrect. Go back and try again.

Ahem.

No. I'm not. You made this claim, so the burden of proof is on you.

Now, go back and try again.

Burden of proof to do what. Restate my honest opinion?

I also told you why I hold that opinion. I said that opinion was based on previous activities, and publically released intelligence estimates.

No, defend it. That's what's called for when what you're expressing an "honest opinion" on is a matter of fact.

I mean, if you were to say, "I think Saddam Hussein was a sexy stud," that would be an opinion requiring no defense (no matter how many people might disagree), because it's purely opinion, in which your feelings are as good as anyone's. But when you say something that is potentially provable/disprovable, and you're challenged on it, then the burden of proof is on you to provide evidence in support.

What exactly did I say that you are challenging?

Could you quote something specific?

Also...

Could you rephrase that sentence?

Maher is a complete asshole, and everyone else who believes Bush is the worst President in history is either just outright retarded and suffers from issues to do with comprehension or has an opinion that has less value than the rear end of a goat.

Maher Ahole? - that's an opinion. I wonder how many deaths that Ahole is responsible for? or if he has ever tarnished the office of the President or an entire Country or an entire economy. nope, just bush.

BDS is a term used to describe those who blame bush for all the problems in the world. It was invented as the only defense of bush idiocy because the fact is, bush is responsible for most of the worst ones.

However, if the shoe fits - then the term can be abused (as in this example) by bushaholics in denial of their lord and masters track record of repeated failure after failure after devastating failure, as if their right-wing id has consumed their right-wing ego.

Bzzzzzzzzt. Try again. Please read the entire passage before filling in the little circle with your official Ticonderoga #2 Pencil.

"Another facet is a merely reflexive opposition to any position advocated by Bush for no other reason than that Bush happens to be advocating it."

understandable - since everything he advocates turns out to be a failure.

Consult your Dr. then.

BDS is doublespeak oxymora. There is no order or sanity to bush to derange. He is simply deranged.
