The population was growing...and the US economy was shrinking, how does that stack up. Then...let's not forget Enron and corporate scandals, the Dotcom crashes, the terrorists hiding among us ready to strike when Bush took office. The stock market obviously overpriced, 9-11 exposes raging holes in our security, the airlines flat out implode...yeah...Bush took an economy over that was in absolute shambles.

It matters.

Perhaps the reason you don't like GWB is because you believe the lies that the leftist anti-USA propaganda machine is spewing at you.

For example you write this....

Who gave you this disinformation, and more importantly, why do you repeat it here without substantiating it or finding out the facts?

1)Iraq got most of it's uranium from Niger. Over 200 tons of it. However this was under IAEA watch at the time of the contrived controvery I think you are referring to.

2)Joe Wilson further substantiated the suspicion that Iraq sought more yellowcake from Niger on the sly. He simply asked them and they admitted it. But they said they refused the deal.

3) Bush never said that "Iraq had made a deal for yellowcake with Niger", as you apparently believe. The accusation was that British intelligence discovered that Iraq tried to make a deal. There is a big difference between making a deal and trying to make a deal.

oh and here is another one of your misconceptions. In your post you say...

Again you are 100% wrong. There never was an ABM treaty between America and Russia in the first place.

Jason, you are basing your criticisms on totally inaccurate information. I don't know if you are just doing this on purpose to spread disinformation or if you actually believe the bullshit anti-USA propaganda you are repeating. But whether you are doing it on purpose or not I suggest that you think about the consequences of basing all of your political views on total falsehoods and outrageously ridiculous lies that are being spoon-fed to you by the radical left.

By your standards, America ought to bomb itself, since we were selling and/or giving Saddam weapons and weapons technologies in the 80's. You know, abetting the terrorists!

I don't believe in the neo-con childish "well I dunno" bullshit response to every major treasonous thing they've done. I've been a consistently moderate person for as long as I've been interested in politics; fiscal conservative, conservative and realistic on abortion, staunch defender of civil liberties, treating all countries the same instead of playing mindgames and playing favorites or entangling ourselves with people we clearly should have never entangled ourselves with in the first place. By any measure, I'd be an old-time conservative with a libertarian streak.

But that's not even good enough for the fucked-up conservatives of today who actually believe in LIBERAL-FASCISM!

They outed her and that's final. "OOPS!" is not a good enough excuse when you run the most powerful and influential administration in the world.

Have some fucking standards! I don't care if you're a lib or conservative. They let that one get out on purpose.

I completely reject STUPIDITY as a defense against treason.

...however, by your naive standard of treating all countries the same regardless of your own country's interests for the sake of some childish egalitarian "fairness" ideology....perhaps yes. I encourage you to re-think your position.

Jason, you are again basing your expressed opinion on lies that have apparently been spoon-fed to you by anti-USA activists.

Do you have any evidence or proof that the USA sold WMD or other weapons to Hussein? It appears to me that Iraq got most of it's conventional weapons from Soviet bloc countries and it's WMD program was indigenous.

I've already pointed out the falehoods in some of your previous statements. And in response you cite this other dubious rumor about the USA giving Hussein weapons.

So again, I implore you to think about the consequences of basing all of your political views on total falsehoods and outrageously ridiculous lies that are being spoonfed to you by the radical left.

Re: Bush is a great President

Opening a dialogue with Iran does not a great President make. I don't see the Iranians asking for any dialogue, they are happy to play the spoiler of the region. However, I think that Bush's decision to invade Iraq, as it was based on faulty and/or cherry-picked intelligence and followed up with ridiculously optimistic expectations is inexcusable.
