1)Iraq got most of it's uranium from Niger. Over 200 tons of it. However this was under IAEA watch at the time of the contrived controvery I think you are referring to.

2)Joe Wilson further substantiated the suspicion that Iraq sought more yellowcake from Niger on the sly. He simply asked them and they admitted it. But they said they refused the deal.

3) Bush never said that "Iraq had made a deal for yellowcake with Niger", as you apparently believe. The accusation was that British intelligence discovered that Iraq tried to make a deal. There is a big difference between making a deal and trying to make a deal.

Do you have any evidence or proof that the USA sold WMD or other weapons to Hussein? It appears to me that Iraq got most of it's conventional weapons from Soviet bloc countries and it's WMD program was indigenous.

Opening a dialogue with Iran does not a great President make. I don't see the Iranians asking for any dialogue, they are happy to play the spoiler of the region. However, I think that Bush's decision to invade Iraq, as it was based on faulty and/or cherry-picked intelligence and followed up with ridiculously optimistic expectations is inexcusable.
