I would think fist before demanding that the pres., has to turn over information on privileged conversation you might want to prove that the defense dept. was hip deep....including the sec def......then I can see a link .....as I said, as it stands now this has little to do with Tillman.....its about eroding Bush’s exec. powers, powers that have been exercised many many many times by onew and almost atr presinets.......if that’s suspicious in your mind so be it..but that is not proof and does not meet inmho the standard by which he should be forced to push overboard exec. privilege...

What you have is what is most probably a tragic accident being turned into a recruiting tool. And no one has come forth and said this is the person that made the decision to falsify official documents and these are the people that complied with that decision and knowingly filed false reports.
And when congress asks what actually happened, executive privilege is invoked to cover up the falsification of official documents, which is a criminal offense.
Executive privilege is supposed to protect those who advise the president so they can give their best candid advice without fear of it being used against them in the future, but it is not supposed to be used to cover up crimes.
The people in Tillman's unit knew what happened, but somewhere between there and the media, the story got changed from one that would not be very flattering to the war effort to one that would be inspirational to the war effort. The president used the made up story and benefited from it.
Now the question is, who ordered the falsification of documents, and if it was the president, or Karl Rove that actually made that decision, then they are not shielded by executive privilege, because executive privilege does not protect criminal behavior. That's why Nixon had to hand over the Watergate tapes.
