An Honest Discussion about Executive Power after 9/11

This is a brilliant and intellectually stimulating show that aired on HDNet which I'm not sure many people have available to them. It's the "Dan Rather Reports" show, so I'm sure some people have a problem with him, but to dismiss it would be to miss a very powerful discussion.

It's a discussion of the implications for the extension of executive powers in wartime and their affects on the legal prosecution of combatants.

I learned a hell of a lot from watching it and it was actually emotionally stirring for me as an American... With all the partisan bullsh*t flying around on TV, it was refreshing to see 5 individuals sit down as patriotic Americans and discuss the serious issues that face our country.

Amazingly, you can watch the whole show here... and I highly recommend it... It's the best piece of television journalism I've seen in quite some time.
