LOL! True, in his bungling he's helped Iran and the environment.

God help us during the next 7 months. He can still do so much damage.

Well, apparently, not these hecklers. They put on one of the greatest shows I've ever seen--Bush claiming to believe in "freedom of speech" all the while his security detail escorts away folks for speaking their mind. That's gotta go down as classic

Aren't you glad you voted for him twice?

You'll know a slam when I actually do one to you. Regardless, the direction of the thread is still more interesting than your topic.

And that's why I encourage all GOP politicians to take Bush (i. e. the honey) with them wherever they go.

And yet you keep trying to take the thread in the direction of me. Why such obsession?

Because it's the weekend. I get intellectually lazy on weekends and you're easy.

I don't buy it. I think you're probably this way always. I think you should try discussing the actual issues instead. It's much more interesting. This crap just bores everyone.

Re: Bush Heckled During July 4 Speech

Citizenship ceremonies are a sacred occasion. I cannot imagine heckling at, or otherwise disturbing a citizenship ceremony. New citizens have worked damned hard to get there, and they deserve far better recognition of their efforts than some loudmouth with a sign.

I guess if ceremonies don't want hecklers, they shouldn't ask Bush, Cheney, Gonzales, Rumsfeld, Rice, Wolfowitz or any of the other Iraq war liars to speak....

Good point. I would NEVER speak at a ceremony if I were POTUS, or any other partisan official for that matter.

Still though, it's no excuse to launch a protest. It looks, and is, juvenile.

Re: Bush Heckled During July 4 Speech

If I were anywhere Bush was in earshot, I'd yell impeach, or end the war, or something to that effect.

It's my patriotic duty.

Even if it means cheapening years of effort by these new citizens? Please.
