When did people heckle Clinton? Remind me and I'll let you know.

I guess will find out if people heckle Obama....hold that thought.
every time clinton went to any military event he was heckled especially the vietnam wall since he dodged that war

and just like him you dodged the question ............ so let me use your pious words against you

if a person feels obama is a terrible president and bad for the country and they heckle him next year will it be their patriotic duty to do it? or since it is now "your president" will it be un acceptable?

additionally i pose to you this question, when obama is president will you still do the RIP threads? or will the point not need to be made anymore?

i think i know the answers to both but would love to see you answer these

I have no doubt at all that, if Obama is elected, the far right wing will deep six its "respect for the office of the presidency" and heckle Obama whenever and wherever they can.

Bush should be hiding his head in shame at what he's done to our economy, the national debt, our good name in the world, our credibility in human rights causes, our constitution, our troops, wasting our tax dollars while enriching his oil buddies, lying to the American people.

But he's out there making speeches, making a fool of himself.

YouTube - Bush Heckled During July 4 Speech
Bush has a 34% approval rating, not surprising as 40% of the country is democrat and he has near 0 ratings among them. He has 70% among republicans. Finally when you look inside the numbers, most people disaprove based on things the president has no control over, namely the economy.

And I have no doubt that conservatives will think it wrong for them to do so and that we wont post threads cheering them on. Some things should be beyond partisanship.

Are you insinuating that it's ONLY conservatives who think it's wrong?

why not? it shows them what they can do... remember, some of them may have been former citizens of countries where they could be killed for protesting.

We have a right to protest here in the United States of America.

no... it's the exercise of one of our freedoms... you know... Free Speech.

raises paw... ok if I answer them?

1) As I recall, Bill Clinton had a student deferment, much the same as Dick Cheney. Since you deride Clinton for dodging the war, do you also deride Cheney?

2) IF Obama is as bad as bush is, hell yes, I'd heckle him because he would deserve it...

3) IMO... As long as there are men and women being killed in bush's war on Iraq, the RIP threads should continue.

true... and I bet they begin as soon as he takes office, without even waiting to see if he does anything nearly as bad to the country as bush hath wrought...
