Explain about the email they refused to open.

Explain why the Supreme Court finally ruled against them.

Explain why NASA has accused them of censorship.

Some greenhouse gases are pollutants, some are not. Water vapor H2O, and CO2, are not pollutants. The climate models do not take into account the affects of water vapor, since it is not understood in a way that can be mathematically described in those computer programs and there is no way currently to collect or collate the cloud cover over the whole planet. They are both requirements for life on this third rock from the sun. Human activity creates very little of either compared to what old Mother Nature puts out on a daily basis. Plants inhale CO2 and exhale oxygen, which is a requirement for our existence. You really want to cut down on your own carbon footprint? Stop breathing.

I've read several of those already; they mostly seem to feed off each other with no new information given, just more confusion on the matter. You're wrong when you say "I must need more news stories," since news stories are a terrible way to prove your point. The "news" comes from something, and in this case, the articles were sparked by Jason Burnett's letter and Senator Boxer's statement.

What we have in the letter is evidence that the White House didn't want the EPA to find that greenhouse gases endangered the public, a finding that would apparently obligate the agency to act according to the Supreme Court's decision (according to Burnett). We also have evidence that the Council on Environmental Quality and the Office of the VP sought to delete parts of Gerberding's testimony last October (which apparently ended up happening). However, we have to look at the source of the evidence itself; a former employee that resigned from the EPA becaue he was fed up with a lack of progress, who is also a staunch Democrat. Now, the letter is significant, but it isn't conclusive evidence. So until further information comes about, all we can reasonably say is that elements of the administration are accused of interfering with an EPA finding and Congressional testimony that support the finding of certain greenhouse gases being a danger to public health. I think you and I can agree that that is a far cry from "Cheney censors global warming facts."

Edit: According to this guy, the original December 2007 draft finding was leaked, and he has a link. This is supposedly what the White House did not want to be the official EPA finding. Edit again: woops, nevermind. This is the updated draft after the email that is supposedly being ignored by the administration.
