Dejuvu in the White House...

Bush on passing the original bailout "We face one of the worst economic crises in our lifetimes"
Obama on passing his 2nd bailout "We have an unprecedented crisis that calls for unprecedented action,"
Bush on the need to act swifty "We must act, and we must act now"
Obama on the need to act swiftly "if we do not act boldly and swiftly, a bad situation could become dramatically worse."

Bush urging congress to pass it (basically w/o reading it) "“Because the sooner this package makes it to my desk – that actually focuses on ways to stimulate growth – the better off our economy is going to be."
Obama urging congress to pass his (basically w/o reading it) "Congress must act bodly and act now"

---------------------

What say you?...

Re: Dejuvu in the White House...

Will the American people swallow this horseshit?

Today he outlined how his plane will "create jobs and stimulate consumer spending"

Update schools to be more energy efficient...
Build roads and bridges.....
How this will stimulate consumer spending I don't know...however equally absurd he said, and I quote - "40% of the jobs should go to women...and 90% to the private sector"
Okaaaay so how many experienced women are there in the construction business?...."private sector"......meaning not actual construction firms, hell with them they don't need to eat - we would rather employ inexperienced people, you know women and minorities...they eat more.

Oh my God...this is already getting out of hand.

Re: Dejuvu in the White House...

Affirmative action which is essentially government sanctioned racism, will soon expand enormously.
I ask the President WHY WOMEN???
Why women Mr. Obama? - According to the 2006 census 50.7% of the U.S. population are women...and according to the United States 2007 labor statistics, women make up 45% of the total employed population...considering many, many women are homemakers by choice - this number is just about perfect when compared to the population data.......so why women???
You are absolutely correct Imperator - when liberals see no inequality where they believe there should be - they fabricate one.

amen brother....and lets remember, the war never ends once started or institutionalized ..to few woman in college? Well we'll fix that and now that we have well, does it end? No....it never dies, no special interest ever does, that’s why it always pays to be careful when creating an entitlement class, even if there appears to be a need for such, anyway, its spawns grievous angels...

Re: Dejuvu in the White House...

What Obama and Riech are trying to do is create a "balance" in an industry where it looks like there needs to be...irregardless that the "imbalance" of male to female ratio in the construction business is not because of some ridiculous "widespread intolerance", but because maybe, just maybe alot of women don't want to work in that industry.

I have another question Mr. Obama - it looks like in the nursing profession there seems to be an epidemic of sexual bias when hiring...women outnumber men in this field 20 to 1...what gives?? As apart of this economic stimulus bill should we not include immediate education vouchers for young men to correct this unforgivable imbalance.
WHat say you Mr. President?

Re: Dejuvu in the White House...

Just after he got elected he started saying that he would refuse to comment on an "ongoing investigation" which was headed up by Pat FitzGerald. Now when Bush said that....

They're not one and the same but sometimes, like with the bailouts and stuff, the institution will set the policy, all the person at the head of it can do is follow along.
