Michelle Feels your pain!

Seriously... Come on, at a FOOD BANK?? how hard is it to get a paid of keds on her feet for a day? Seriouisly.... WTF!!! lol

----------------

While volunteering Wednesday at a D.C. food bank, the First Lady sported her usual J.Crew cardigan, a pair of utilitarian capri pants and, on her feet, a sneaky splurge: trainers that go for $540.....

"They're shoes," the First Lady's reps sniffed when curious reporters inquired about the fancy footwear

First Lady Michelle Obama steps out in Lanvin sneakers and they're only $540!

Re: Michelle Feels your pain!

She is in a food bank wearing $540.00 shoes.. all this while lecturing others how to work, and spend.

Dont you recall at all how they made McCain to be the rich guy? In any event she could go to a food bank and cut some homeless person open and eat his heart and you would not be upset with her...

its funny actually

Actually, that would upset me. What she wears doesn't.

So, what's the gripe? Did she not pay for them with her own money? Is she supposed to get dressed up in Goodwill clothes before she goes to the shelter? What first lady has ever "slummed" it with her wardrobe to fit in with the needy?

It's not as if we did a taxpayer bailout on Michelle's shoe closet.

p.s. Paying that much attention to a woman's wardrobe accessories is a bit effeminate, don't you think?! (no offense if you are a woman...effeminate would be a good thing in that case.....and I'd leave you to commiserate with your girlfriends).

The problem is she is if she donated the cost of teh shoes to that food bank they could feed a family of 4-5 for over a 2 months.

Her staff does not get that they as well as YOU think they are JUST shoes....

I have donated more then 1200 to my local food bank in the last 6 months and have adopted a family in need where I bring stuff to them directly. I could use a new pair of shoes but CHOOSE to help others.

THATS THE ISSUE HERE!!!

Dipshit...
BIG FUCKING DEAL. It's HER money and you can play the high and mighty with "I could use a new pair of shoes but CHOOSE to help others" bullshit but you don't know what she gives to charity so you until you do you probably should STFU.
BTW, yesterday, I spent $25 on a pair of flipflops, $50 on two shirts I didn't need, $150 on pool supplies, $52 on a bikini (to go with the ten I already own) $10 on a car wash, $35 on a dart case, $33 on a dress for my granddaughter who has more clothes than any 4 year old needs and $45 playing darts and drinking last night. Didn't really need any of that stuff (well, yes, I need the pool supplies so I can spend my summer swimming in my back yard) but it's MY money and I spend it the way I want.

Actually we do know how much her and her husband give to charity based on the release of their taxes and it pathetic.

So what if she doesn't give a dime. The last time I checked, there was no law saying that you have to give any money to any charity. I'm definitely not going to do without just to give money to someone else.
