Well, I would have preferred anyone over John McCain--so it came down to making a "rational" decision. Did I want someone who would cut non-sense spending--or someone who promised the masses the impossible.

You really don't' understand how much the media is in the pocket for the current administration do you? The free press is virtually extinct here in the U.S., almost all news really only flows from a couple of sources despite all the yammering and talking heads one can see on T.V..

The coverage of war protests since The Obama gained office has been dismal and barely existent here in the U.S. because it speaks of dissent against dear leader.

Why on earth would they protest at the withdrawal of troops from Iraqi cities?
