More evidence that you spout off about things you don't understand.
My grandfather was a scoutmaster for decades, earning one of these:

My father was a boy scout.
I was a cub scout, but decided not to pursue boy scouting for a number of reasons, none of them very good (but very age appropriate).
"I'm right, get over it!"
Nice.
"Finding the occasional straw of truth awash in a great ocean of confusion and bamboozle requires intelligence, vigilance, dedication and courage. But if we don't practice these tough habits of thought, we cannot hope to solve the truly serious problems that face us -- and we risk becoming a nation of suckers, up for grabs by the next charlatan who comes along." -Carl Sagan

I've got nothing to get over, as far as I can tell.

I don't even come in here with that bro.
A) Christ compels us to be accepting of EVERYONE. Turn the other cheek, minister to thine enemy. Etc. Not to exclude, but to include. To mend wounds and bridges. Any group that claims to be "christian" should take about ten minutes and read the red lettered parts of the bible. Then go act on those Commandments From Their God. Just sayin. Otherwise drop the holy roller act and admit "we just don't want to hang out with gays or people that don't believe like we do".
B) There were always plenty of gays in the scouts man. Plenty of the kids I went camping with ended up gay. (course i was in a larger troop so there was a statistically higher chance. i also live in a day and age where people for the most part aren't ashamed of that sort of thing). And if you think that every kid whose throat you cram your interp of Christs teachings down is a christian you are sadly mistaken. You can't force someone to come to God. You can't coerce them. You can't bribe them. They have to do it on their own. Excluding them from a club where they SHOULD be able to be exposed to Christians working in brotherhood with non-christians and LEADING BY EXAMPLE, etc is a poor move if you want them to convert.
