I'm sure there are people dying somewhere right now. Why don't you go and help them?I'm saying Sadanie presented a false dilemma. As for which government services should exist and which should not, I suppose it depends on the government service.
Yep. . .that makes a lot of sense! Luckily, our governement was not that stupid and established EMLAT in 1981. . .it is not a perfect system, and dumping of patients still occurs, but at least it is the regulation!
Such a kind heart!. . .so worried about the wealthy who may lose some of their money to save the life of people who may die for lack of care!
I do believe in Kharma. . .I guess you are not a big fan of "Pay It Forward," right?
"There is no gain in arguing with a poo flinging monkey. While his
gibbering and raucous cries of victory may seem obnoxious in your ears
as you walk away, he will soon be quietly sitting behind his bars again
and licking his own feces off his fingers as you carry on with your day."

Which costs more? Subsidizing all health care, or using Emergency Rooms as the family doctor?
Why argue about it. Lets accept about your solution; we have a Permanent Committee already. Two, in fact. They have both agreed that we have health care, and they decided it will be the HCR. So we are good too go?

Yes, I understand your point of view:
If a government services serves some purpose for you. . . or for the wealthy. . .no problem. . .it should stay.
If a government service is to prevent the death or relieve the suffering of an "unworthy" person. . .like an elderly, a poor, a disable, an unemployed. . . that is not acceptable!
Yes, people do die every day. . . wealthy and poor. . .and guess what? The wealthy do not take their money with them!

Don't know. They're not the only options is what I'm saying. What are you talking about?

What are you basing your delusions on?So why are you still here? Why not go and help some dying person somewhere?

Gosh, slon, so many objections, no answers. Point out every possible bad scenario, but bring nothing to the table The Dems had ONE chance to pass ahealth care bill. The GOP has been blocking ANY health care reform for literally 100 years. I see this is not a perfect bill, but it is a start, and will be improved upon in the years ahead. If you see the GOP idea of miniscule gov slipping away, you are right. Started happening in 1789, all part of a vast conspiracy started by an evil genius named Hamilton. He fought the hero Jefferson, and, although he won the war, he lost his life at Weehawken. Please, please, show me a PLAN, show me a tangible outline to allow health services to ALL Americans affordably. Show me the GOP cares, cause I'm 54 and I haven't seen them do anything but prevent it.

You answer was not an answer but a hedge . Quite simply , are you saying that social services such as police , fire , or any of the services I mentioned should be made available just to those who can pay for them ? Why is it alright for the government to " distribute the wealth " of some Americans , for these particular service but not for health care ? Few American would deny these services to all .
...If you want to continue to be the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, then let bankers continue to create money and control credit.

if it's such a good idea, then why is Obama lying about it?
Nope, that's not what I said. I said: "I suppose it depends on the government service."
It's hilarious to watch you quote a tiny, simple post and then analyze it incorrectly.Because the merits of letting the government take over a service vary from service to service.

Actually, dear, it is because I was involved in hospice care and in working with people with AIDS that I understand the subject, and that I am offended by your cavalier suggestion that NO ONE should pay for emergency care of those who need it!
You are living in lala land!
I do hope it doesn't bring you bad Kharma!
