And I do not believe President Obama has crippled the country. If fact, he has taken steps that have helped bring the country out of the disastrous situation it was facing at the end of 2008. . .

Bush crippled the country. . .Obama began the rehabilitation of the country.
I am proud of our President.
Well let's see, after this year he'll have added more debt in 3 years than Bush did in 8.

Obama has told you that he can order you to buy any product the government orders you to buy, and you have no choice....and you cheered when he said being a slave to the government was good.

And you can not believe something, but the numbers tell you the truth. A lot of people don't want to believe the truth when it's inconvenient.

And as far as bringing us out of the disastrous situation...looks like it's worse...not better.

Unless you like bigger, more intrusive government Obama's done nothing whatsoever to be proud of.

If I send you my mailing address, would you send me a supply of whatever it is you are smoking?
Unfortunately the Republican Senate didn't stop all of the stupidity he and his moronic Democratic congressional representatives tried to foist on us. Of course the Republicans aren't much better.

Businesses aren't exactly thrilled with the environment in this country, and people like you tell them THEY are the problem. Good incentive for them to do like so many others and pack up and head out as well.

Yes, he's done his best to kill this country. In a way we should thank him for speeding up the collapse I suppose.

I wonder how many people would give up today's situation to go back to October 2008 situation?

By the way. . let's not forget that the first stimulus was initiated by Bush (the best thing he had done in 8 years!), and that Obama's budget only started late in 2009!

The current deficit is partially related to programs established to get us out of the recession created by Bush and his cronies, and to the terrible economic slump that Bush left us with. It is also related to the continued wars . . .also began by Bush, and the interests on the loans related to the deficit under Bush.

Yes, deficits snowball. . .but the snow ball didn't start under Obama. . .it just grew. . . as snowballs will if they are not stopped by, for exemple, a raise in taxes, especially raise in taxes to the very wealthy.

When and where did he disassociate himself with the leftists elements? When did he disavow such philosophies? When did he write the book? I don't imagine you'll get the point but I'm pretty darned sure he's never said "In my youth I absorbed liberal ideologies that were tempered later in life to make me the centrist I now am."

The man's a leftist or at least has gone far in life pretending to be one.

Would people believe me If I said...all this will do nothing to help the middle class in the long run, housing values will drop and stay low and millions will lose their jobs and stand little to no chance of find a job with equal financial benefit?

By the way. . let's not forget that the first stimulus was initiated by Bush (the best thing he had done in 8 years!),
One of the worst things he did, the first proposed stimulus was rejected by congress.

Lets examine that, we would be getting back over 3 trillion in debt, and we would not be adding 1.5 trillion in debt every yr. We would be under 8% unemployment not over 9%. We would not have Obamacare that was shoved down our throat and adding to our national debt and being challenged in the the Supreme Court being pushed by 26 states. We would still have the Democrat controlled House and Senate that took over on 07 which on their watch is when the economy began to tank thanks to the Democrat controlled congress. We would not have a Trillion dollar failed stimulus. How am I doing so far?

You are doing pretty lousy if imparting truth is a goal for you.

You are doing pretty well if your goal is to be sure Republicans don't have to take personal responsibility for their deeds.

You know Dick, the way I see it, and the way history writes it, is what ever happens on a presidents watch is his / her problem. It is as simple as that. All the stats are calculated from the day that person took office. We did not have Obamacare under Bush. This is all Obama's doing. If you want to go back in time then you have to say the Democrat controlled congress caused the meltdown, because they controlled congress. I mean how many yrs to do you to go back. No need to answer, I already know, back to 1930 to 1940. Hey I see you got a kick out of my post going back to 08

So. . .finally someone is admitting that 9/11 was ALL BUSH's fault!!!

And the decline in job creation was ALL BUSH's fault!

And the Bank and Wall Street crash of 2008 were ALL BUSH's fault!

    Well. . .that's progress!

Apparently a lot, considering how badly the Democrats got clobbered in the last election.

And that wasn't a good idea either.

And raising taxes gets you less revenue, not more.
